Welcome to MichaelCheckoway.com - the only site on the internet that offers you spectacular rewards including trips to Las Vegas, New York City, Los Cabos, Mexico, and CASH simply for helping me find a job. Due to the current economic situation I've had difficulty finding a full-time job so I'm getting creative and calling on you for assistance.
All you have to do is provide me with good, qualified leads and referrals, and if one of those leads gets me a job, you'll have your choice from a number of exciting prizes including vacations and cash. The better the job I get, the greater the reward for you. And if you hire me yourself, then you can cash in on the rewards.
Click
here to learn more about me, my qualifications and what types of jobs interest me. You can also view and download my
resume. Email me your leads and referrals, along with your contact information, and you could be a winner. The sooner I find a job, the sooner you get your reward.
Here's how it works. There are three levels of rewards, based on my new job's base salary, starting at an annual base salary of $55,000. When I accept a job, here's what you'll win.
Level 1 - $55,000-$74,999 annual salary
Three-night trip to Las Vegas for two people, including airfare, hotel, tickets to a show and $300 spending money
OR
Two-night trip to New York City for two people, including airfare, hotel, tickets to a show and $300 spending money
OR
$2,000 cash
Level 2 - $75,000-$99,999 annual salary
Seven-night trip to Los Cabos, Mexico for two people, including airfare, hotel and $500 spending money. Hotel stay will be at Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort, The Westin Resort and Spa or Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos. Airfare and hotel based on availability.
OR
$4,000 cash
Level 3 - $100,000 and above annual salary
THE GRAND PRIZE - Choose one prize from Level 1 AND one prize from Level 2.
Thank you in advance for your interest and assistance in helping me find a job. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Legal stuff you need to know
Job must be based in Atlanta. Salary levels refer to base salary only. In order to claim your prize, I must accept the job and be employed for 90 days. You must provide 30 days notice prior to taking trip to allow time to book travel arrangements. Air travel will be in coach class. Cash rewards will be paid monthly in $1,000 installments. Only one contest winner will be awarded. Las Vegas hotel stay will be at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay or The Mirage. New York City hotel stay will be at The Westin New York at Times Square, Marriott Marquis or Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square. Los Cabos hotel stay will be at Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort, The Westin Resort and Spa or Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos. All airfare, hotel and show tickets based on availability, and certain blackout dates may apply such as holidays or special event weekends.
What an idea!
Mike, if I can help you get a job, I wouldn't make you buy me a trip. It's just good to help people. Get in touch with me and I'll do what I can. I have lots of HR contacts in the area.

Michael~
This is a great spunky self-promo. If you can generate this type of buzz for companies (I heard about your site word-of-mouth from a trusted high-level headhunter) then you are going to end up in a great place. Good Luck!

So you're not willing to do what most Americans are having to do right now and take jobs that are less than $55k/yr. I see you went to college and I know you figure you're worth more. And I am sure you are. But I make less than $20k/yr. Do you think I am a high school drop out? I graduated within top 50 out of 500 students, with honors. I didn't go to college because I can't afford it. And at 28, it's hard to get a scholarship. I don't have kids, I only have me. Yet, I can manage to do what it takes to take care of myself. I would love to make enough money so I wouldn't have to worry about the little things. But I've learned, you can't always get what you want, when you want it. Sometimes you can't get it at all. Are you refusing jobs that are paying less? Because I'll tell you now, there ARE jobs out there. You just don't want to work them because you are too proud to. But there will come a time, you will have to pick. Do you stay unemployed or do you do what it takes to survive. Although, I think you are picking a lazy way out, I wish you luck.

Who are you to assume he DOESN'T have a job right now? Just because he wants a good paying job, doesn't mean he's "picking a lazy way out." People specifically spend money on higher education so they can land the higher-paying jobs. Frequently, that means taking out student loans. Despite having a law degree, I worked at Costco for almost 15 months to pay the bills... but the whole time I was looking for a higher-paying job because I was qualified for it and NEEDED to make that much money to pay for the education I chose to get.
You don't know anything about this guy -- whether he already has a job, whether he's "too proud" to take a lower-paying job, etc. He's come up with a creative way to market himself -- don't hate on him because you're jealous. He's not asking for a handout, he's asking for leads and compensating people for their time and effort.
Good for you Mike -- and good luck!

Mike,
I salute your creativity and positive drive to suceed. Some of the negative comments above illustrate the frustrations Americans feel with the econcomy in such disarray...how did we ever get into this mess anyway? Undoubted, you will suceed because of the uniqueness of your approach and "being the first one on the block to try this approach" lands you in an area of great exposure. CNN certainly is a great platform to get your point noticed. Great sucess to you.

Mike,
I'm in the same situation. PhD in Chemistry, former Government scientist (Canadian Government)...almost "tenured", making more than $70K/yr, then funding was cut and so was my job. Right now I'm trying to start a consulting company (http://www.chimaera.ca), but I have also applied for work with our local public transit system (made it through all the steps...then the medical resulted in a diabetes diagnosis) and I've applied to be a night-clerk at the local grocery stores. In order to increase my exposure in the local biotech scene I have (as of this week) offered to work for a few of the local companies for FREE.
I think your idea is amazing, and I wish I had thought of it. With "out-of-the-box" thinking like this, you're sure to get some good offers. Good luck.

Good morning Michael,
I strongly suggest that you submit you’re resume to Texas Instruments. I do not see any openings available online; however it is definitely worth a try (anything is possible)

nothing reeeks of desperation quite like bribary! i sure hope your potential employers don't mind the stench. while i applaud your creativity i would be wary (as a potential employer) to hire someone who stands a better than average chance of being a shameless SELF promoter, rather than a COMPANY man (for lack of a better term). good luck, sniff sniff.

Mike,
Market this website if you notice lots of traffic. That might actually pay you some little advertising money.

It sounds like you're breaking some kind of law. You're bribing recruiters to hire you for cash. You might want to get some legal advice if this is cool or not.

Nice viral approach to self marketing. Atlanta is a tight market. NYC /LA/Miami is where your talents would generate 100K plus. Great way to network though. Best of luck.

I completely dismiss your detractors as merely jealous, uninspired nay-sayers who would rather see their good neighbors go down in flames than rise through original and honest effort. I applaud you for 'outside the box thinking" and wish you the best of luck.
